We're taking you behind-the-scenes of our new show, "Surviving and Thriving," which airs in December on WKMG Local 6 in Orlando, to show you why we think this is a show every family will want to -- and needs to -- see.

What you don't need to see is behind-the-scenes as we read scripts, forget wardrobes, apply make-up, tape story intros, make mistakes, eat lunch and share countless laughs. But admit it, you want to. And so you shall. See what goes on ... before the show goes on.

"Surviving and Thriving" tells the stories of those who not only survive life’s most serious setbacks but actually thrive in the aftermath. The show is produced by Growing Bolder, with support from WKMG Local 6 and MD Anderson Cancer Center Orlando. Stay tuned in the coming weeks for more details on how you can watch the first one-hour special.
