At the age of 85, Dorothy Dale Kloss is listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as the Oldest Performing Showgirl in the World.
She dances with the Palm Springs Follies in California and high-kicks her way through show after show every week! She began dancing at a very early age. She was a teenage prodigy, so highly regarded that she was chosen to teach a young Bob Fosse to tap dance.
She is very much at peace with her age. She still strives to get the most out of each and every day, and one listen will convince you that she knows how to have fun.
Dorothy explains how a brush with cancer more than 20 years ago was all the wake-up call she needed to turn her life around.

Posted 5:07pm April 23rd, 2009Great interview. Dorothy is a fantastic lady. I've seen her preform in the Follies and she is fabulous as are all of the dancers. Their jest for life "just gets ya goin'!!"
