Retired military man Bernie Sher hasn't let his training regime falter.

He has competed in the Ironman World Championships in Kona, Hawaii -- one of the hardest triathlons in the world -- three times.

The 68-year-old prostate cancer survivor also rode across the country with Lance Armstrong as part of the famous cyclist's Tour of Hope.

He says he competed in his first Ironman Hawaii when he was 57 and he hasn't looked back since.

Find out what drives him to keep competing at such an elite level.
