With so many illnesses and diseases, chances are you're taking at least one prescription drug. Author Dr. Hyla Cass says there are some things doctors won't tell you about those very drugs.

With her new book, "Supplement Your Prescription, What Your Doctor Doesn't Know About Nutrition," Cass explains how most drugs are robbing us of vital nutrients that essentially cause more harm than good.

Cass says that the side effects caused from the depletion of essential nutrients can be progressive, causing many people to assume it's all a part of their original sickness.

Her book and Web site also tackle major issues like stress and cell phone use.

Dr. Hyla Cass explains to Growing Bolder what kinds of potential dangers common drugs that fight Cholesterol, Diabetes and Arthritis have on our bodies.
