It's time to brush up on your manners.

You could say that Anna Post comes by her great manners naturally. She's the great-great-granddaughter of etiquette icon Emily Post.

Anna is a member of the Post Institute, the nation's barometer on civility, and the author of "Emily Post's Wedding Parties."

She talks to Growing Bolder about growing up Post and if that meant she always had to be on her best behavior.

She says etiquette does not have to be intimidating. In fact, there's a lot more to it than just following the rules for which fork to use or when to write a thank-you card.

In her new book, she also navigates through the minefield of 21st century weddings. Her tips are designed for the couple, guests and friends and family members of the bride and groom.

Find out if it's OK to send email invitations and if that old "you have one year to send a gift" rule still applies.
