Its luster had been dulled by the dust of many decades. The future of its very existence was in doubt until one man saw it for what it could be. Against all advice he took a chance and bought the Stetson Mansion in DeLand, Florida. Today, it is one of the top historic homes in America.

Posted 1:13pm June 25th, 2009What a beautiful old home! We too bought an old historic home in Pittsburg, TX, built in 1905. In our minds we thought we could bring it further than it was, but our bodies are just not as agile as they used to be, so maintenance is about all we can manage, and not as well as we'd like, at this point. Money is an issue too! But, we'll keep trying! Love the old home! Going to try to include a picture..... guess I'll try on my home pg
