This is a great video. Hiker Joe comes off the trail, puts the jokes aside and talks frankly and honestly with homeless people.
It's amazing how hearing from them as individuals is so much more powerful than talking about the "Plight of the Homeless". You did a great job in reminding us that they are people, and the only difference between them and us is one or two bad breaks.
Also, you didn't have to do this. But you did. I'm not sure what inspired you, but I think it says a lot about you to know that yes, the laughs on the trail are great, but when there's a need to address, you're willing to take a risk and do it well.
Great job. Thanks so much for posting. Spread the word, folks!
