When there's a storm, some are hurt. When we fertilize the yard, some are poisoned.

It isn't easy being a wild animal these days! Vets can't help, so who can?

Mary Jane Isner rehabs squirrels, raccoons, opossums and other creatures day and night, in her home!

See what makes what she does such a gift to the community!

Mary Jane has stepped up to take care of the birds whose future was in question after the death of bird rehab specialist, Ann Young.

Mary Jane, thank you so much for what you do. I brought a baby squirrel in last week with two broken legs or a broken spine and you took it in at 9:30 pm. What a great woman you are. I would love to help you in any way that I can. If you ever get this please email me, I live in Oviedo so I am not far from you. Thank you Mary Jane for all that you do!

What a happy story! It is so great to see another person who believes that these animals are worth something, especially the possum. Having grown up in the country, I had several orphaned babies to care for and always felt that it was something very special to have the opportunity to care for those wild babies. It was always sad to see them go but they provided me with so many happy memories that I have shared with my children. They have learned a respect for nature, when to sit back and watch and when to lend a hand when needed. It is people like you, that make this world a better place. Keep up the great work.

I love animals too, and I am a person people have brought animals to that are too young.  I admire her & know how she feels for these babies.  I think a baby anything needs a mom, and even if not the same as they are; they know a mom & survive becouse of the love they feel.
