It's graduation day for everyone's favorite office dog. Shiloh graduates from puppy training to the world of changing people's lives. See how some furry friends can mean the world to some special families.

    You made me cry.

I love this video, and it brought tears to my eyes, too.  I also agree with Ageless Annie....if humans were more like animals this world would be a much better place.  I was a multiple cat owner for about 20 years and have had multiple dogs for the last 15.  I never go looking for them, but when they come into my life, it's til the end of theirs; which is always too soon.

Companion animals are absolute angels from heaven.  And I always thought that only dogs were trained companions until last year when I was doing a show in The Villages, and a lady had a companion cat with her in the restaurant!  The cat can sense when she's going to have a seizure.

So, cat or dog or whatever....we can learn a lot from the animal kingdom.

God bless you, Shiloh....you are very, very loved.

Aw Nertz!!  As usual,  I made an error  (yeah, surprised me, too)  and I feel compelled to explain, even though no-one really gives a hoot.   Ummm,  that picture of the cat's head?   That's my cat.  Her name is not Ageless Annie.

Her name is "Snickers".   And that's why I attempted to make a funny.   And say she was named after a candy bar.

    Never mind.

*sigh* -- I am a member of about 1/2 dozen animal welfare/rights organizations,  all of whom are fighting to stop the endless cycle of abuse, cruelty, torture,  and huge purveyors of unbelievable horrors in what we call "Kentucky Fried Cruelty" (2 billion chickens callously tortured every year) and the list goes on.  And on......but there is always this shining glimmer of hope that continues by humane, compassionate, loving human beings who adore our furry kids and wouldn't hurt them for the world !!

Shiloh is typical of our beloved canine companions!  As usual I got teary-eyed watching this video clip.  LOL  Dogs are --- unbelievable, aren't they?  Wouldn't it be a beautiful world if homo sapiens were even half as loving and trusting as our dogs.   On the other hand, those haughty little stinkers we call "kitties"  are also, without doubt, the most beautiful, graceful,  mysterious little brats we are lucky enough to have in our lives.  We don't really know how a cat does it, but we are hypnotized by their seductive manners I think.

Cats are great foils for squashing our conceit that WE know what they are thinking.  We do not have a clue what cats think about us.  LOL    But dogs, on the other hand, wear their hearts on their sleeve--if they had a sleeve.

Shiloh.....this human salutes you and all the dogs who have enriched our lives.   You are the best!

    Ageless Annie
