Penny Jones wanted to make a difference in her life, her children's lives, and in her community. She didn't have a lot of time or a lot of money. What she did have was a lot of love, and that proved to be more than enough.

Good for Penny. We need more foster parents to step up. If you would like to see what an entire community is doing to help thousands of foster children, check out the Foster Care Support Foundation and go to www.fostercares.org and see how an amazing organization is helping make a difference for thousands of underserved children throughout the State of Georgia. It's an amazing group, that was all volunteer for at least 8 years that is helping change lives, one child at a time.

Good for Penny! I appreciate her bosses allowing flex-time; however, she is the one who is caring for the child and seeking to provide the best care.
