October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
I watched Meg's videos 1 through 7 this evening. Her series is very interesting and informative.
Shortly before Easter 2007, my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 75. She had a lumpectomy followed by radiation and was prescribed Tamoxifen to be taken for about 5 years (I think). She is doing well, and her follow-ups have been good news thus far.
