Posted 5:40pm April 17th, 2008I found this a bit shallow. I have started 4 small businesses and three were successful. I attribute none of them to "luck." Maybe the "big bucks VC boys" believe in luck. I believe in knowing the business, adequate financing to carry you through the start-up phase, good management skills and lots of hard work to provide exquisite customer service. That worked for me.
