I'm sorry, it sounds like you had a not so good experience with this. That is definitely one of the down sides of the online thing, makes it easy to lie and mislead if you're that kind of person. I met some very nice guys on there, luckily the worst I can say is I also met some flakes, not any true bad news guys. AND...
a few months after I recorded this, a great guy came into the picture, yes, from online. He's in a rather public position in the community so fortunately from that perspective that makes it pretty easy to 'check up on him'. So far, so good, I'm happy to report. I feel very lucky. This is looking very promising.
I hope a 'real' great guy comes along for you soon! Thanks for your message!

Posted 6:24pm July 8th, 2009I'm just a year late in saying be careful. The most perfect man, one to whom you could become engaged, may be out there just waiting for his next victim. While I have met some very interesting and trustworthy men on line, the one who "caught" me was, unfortunately, a sociopath with a bogus resume`. Check those bios first and then check again.
