Chances are, you or someone you know is looking for the perfect mate. And the older you get the more difficult it is to go through the whole “back in the market” process once again. So where do you turn?
Some people have friends fix them up. Some turn to online dating services, but get this, your best source just might be a 79-year-old Catholic priest from New Jersey.

After preaching day in and day out for more than 50 years, Father Pat Connor became an overnight sensation when the New York Times’ Maureen Dowd wrote a column about him. The story instantly became an Internet sensation and was one of the most e-mailed stories ever on the paper’s Web site.

The next thing he knew, Father Connor was on the Today Show with Matt Lauer and Meredith Viera!

Now the priest who has never even come close to getting married is doling out relationship advice to 20somethings and beyond and they’re all listening to him. He says it’s proof that the wisdom of age is something that needs to be appreciated and respected.

He’s sharing his tips on some common warning signs that people may not be compatible and ways to make relationships work, even in tough economic times.
