I don't really know what to say here...wonderful video of true love...the kind that is not found by most all of their lives, so they always have that. My mother has Alzheimer's for the last 3 years and is getting worse. It is just so unique because it is like they have passed away and yet you know they haven't. Even though the video is sad, I choose to see the love story and that is true happiness! Thanks for the great story!

I see this was posted on 8/2007 and don't know if your wife is still around physically. My heart goes out to you, but not for your wife, because my feeling is that she is one of 'The Chosen Few' as I like to call them. I also cared for my dearest friend for fourteen years and watching your pictures I saw a lot of similarity. I've ran Alzheimer's support groups, worked in adult day care and also assisted living facilities, and have always felt: Alzheimer's victims were the chosen few by God. Your wife has been safe for a long time, and you did the right decision by putting her in a facility. God bless you my friend.
