Cyclist Skip Rogers recently smashed the 10K record in the 50-54 age group at the National Senior Games, but nobody could guess that he had recently recovered from a slew of serious injuries.
Eight years ago, the big-time cyclist broke his neck in mountain bike accident, ripped his Achilles Tendons, had two heart clots and a staph infection that nearly required an arm amputation!
But that hasn't stopped Rogers, let alone slowed him down.
He's bounced back and is still riding competitively.
He talks with Growing Bolder about how he recovered from such horrific injuries and when he finally plans to throw the towel in.
