Having macular degeneration has made Dortha King, 84, give up a lot of her favorite habits, but she's still an avid golf player.

She says golf means so much to her because it keeps her active and outdoors, something she loved to do before going blind.

King not only plays golf, but she has hit a hole-in-one three times in the lat seven years. Her husband plays golf with her and tells her where the direction of the hole and how far it is for her.

Despite her condition, King says she has never felt sorry for herself.

She talks with Growing Bolder about how she's still excited about life and how she isn't afraid of aging.
