Posted 5:07pm December 3rd, 2009I've been golfing for many years.
I have ALWAYS washed my grips with hot water and dish soap and rinse them throughly.
I then allow them to air dry.
Good, supple grips are extremely important to a good game as, they allow you to not have to choke the grip to death to hold on to the club.
Too tight a grip is anathema to hitting good shots.
Unfortunately, so is winter and, here in WI, it is currently doing that filthy four letter word which describes what falls from the gray sky.
