Posted 9:20am April 15th, 2009It's like a combination of badminton, ping-pong and tennis. You use paddles a bit larger than racquetball racquets, on 20-by-44-foot surfaces which are roughly half the size of tennis courts, pickleball requires players to trade volleys with something akin to hard plastic Whiffle balls. The exchanges, though spirited and exhausting, are easier on the joints — especially the knees and shoulders — than tennis. But your tennis skills will definitely give you an advantage!
