One day it just happened. Brian Brode was working at the same financial institution as always, sitting at the same desk when he suddenly noticed that the walls were closing in on him. He never noticed it before but he knew he simply had to change his lifestyle.
As a father of four, he wanted to be sure he'd be around to watch them grow up. But he also wanted to be an example to them of HOW to grow up.
Brian began to exercise. He says that yes, there is discomfort. Yes, there is soreness, but the body adapts and within just a few weeks, not only does it get better but everything about you starts to change.
Today, Brian is known as the Tri-Boomer. Triathlons are his game. He's so passionate about it that he started a blog that's become a must-read for anyone even thinking about making that big lifestyle change. He's an inspiring guy.
One listen to this interview and you'll be ready to try a tri yourself!

Posted 2:07pm June 10th, 2009Brian is such an inspiration! This interview is almost enough to make me start training for a tri -- you notice that I said ALMOST. Not sure I'm there yet, but the idea sounds more attainable when Brian explains it. Way to go Tri Boomer!
