At 94, Lucille Borgen became the oldest competitor ever in the U.S. National Water Skiing Championships; the world's largest water ski tournament.
She amazed the crowd, winning the slalom and tricks title in her age division.
Lucille survived polio as a child, cancer as an adult and the complete loss of vision in her left eye a few years ago. You'll find her as competent behind the microphone as she is on the water!

Posted 12:12am August 27th, 2009I am a 64 year old woman and I love to slalom ski. I only get on the lake once or twice a year. I am inspired by Lucille and to think I might still have another 30 years of this great sport. She is an inspiration to growing old and having fun at the same time.
