Challenges are nothing new to Martha Carswell.
She was a member of the first-ever professional women's basketball team, and she fell in love with triathlons years before they were cool.
But when her bike was hit head on by a van, it shattered more than her body. For her, Growing Bolder is about recapturing her spirit, wherever the journey may take her.

Posted 7:27am October 8th, 2011Martha's life is testament to the human spirit. Her challenges, the ones she personally chose and the unexpected, all have enriched her life to the max. I would love also to take a paddle vacation on the beautiful Florida Wekiva River too, a total eco-bonanza! Thank you for sharing Martha's story.
