There's a time in all of our lives when we start to feel those aches and pains we never noticed before. We have two choices -- we can decide to do less or dig in and decide to do more and work though the pain.
Walter Urban chose the latter.
He's 53 years old and has spent a lifetime pursuing an active lifestyle. Along the way, he's been a wrestler, a football player, a member of the U.S. Parachute Team, a hang glider, a race car drive and even a sailboat racer.
But he found his true calling in the form of weights.
Walter recently set a Guinness World Record for the heaviest total amount of weight squat-lifted in a time period of one hour. He lifted 127,245 pounds and did 904 squats in one hour
Walter explains what attracted him to power lifting and how he's been tweaking his strategy in the past couple years after his disappointment over not qualifying for the world team.
He also shares advice for following your passion in life, no matter what it is.
