It's art. It's a memorial. It's grandma's cremated remains! We’re all about living and normally wouldn’t cover the National Funeral Directors Convention, but we heard the industry is changing rapidly. We promise, this story isn't depressing. A little weird? Yeah, we'll give you that.
From launching your loved one's ashes into space to tucking them into the barrel of a hunting fan's shotgun, we'll give you unusual ideas for a final resting place.

Posted 11:03am November 20th, 2008I might consider having my artist son paint a picture of me with my ashes mixed in with the oil paint. That way the picture can be passed around. When it's dry it could be covered with some acrylic so it will last longer. It's just an idea.

Posted 8:14pm October 25th, 2008All I know is when it's my time I want to be embalmed with chocolate
syrup and laid out on a bed of marshmellows with a bed of inlaid dark chocolate surrounding me.
So I hope someone out there can create my final resting place whenI'm ready.
Until then I'll be eating sugar free!
It's amazing the things they can do now!!
