When the odometer hit 100,000, most of us can't wait to trade our car in for a new one.

But then there's Irv Gordon. He has put a record-setting 2.6 million miles on his 1966 Volvo and he's got his eyes on pushing the odometer over the 3-million-mile mark!

He tells the Growing Bolder Radio Show that the miles just started to add up after 41 years of driving the same car all across the country.

He says one of the fringe benefits of his notoriety is that Volvo has invited Irv and the car to Europe and Canada for shows.
