Sedona Arizona is known to be a haven for spiritual seekers. With an inspiring natural geography and conditions ripe for hot air ballooning, I seized the opportunity to fly above it all and look across the wide expanses. The balloon ascended quickly and as our bearded, leather jacketed pilot released his hand from the noisy gas thrusters jetting the balloon skyward, there was only the sound of ....um, no sound at all. Quiet, devoid of noise, peace-filled moments as we drifted slowly above the terrain. Nothingness became tangible.
