While my video editor (Final Cut Express) gives me many options for compression, I have had really good luck saving as a .wmv file in the 320 X 240 size with quality set to High or Maximum. They are so good, I keep them as my permanent file and save space on my own hard drive. The videos I have here on GB are in that format and most look pretty good even in full screen mode.
