John Board is a multi-talented person in the field of moviemaking. He's been a First Assistant Director of feature films since 1979.  Okay, he hasn't made any Hollywood blockbusters, but he has had a pretty strong impact for another reason.

20 years ago while working on a TV film called, "A Christmas Wife," with Jason Robards and Julie Harris his arthritis became too painful and crippling to continue. Right around the corner from the set he found a homeopathic store. Desperate, he took the advice and the remedies and was amazed to find that within days his symptoms receeded dramatically. He hasn't had a debilitating flair-up since.

Soon it seemed that on every Hollywood set he worked on, more and more people were interested. So many had positive results that they began to seek him out for help. So, John put together a kit full of some of the most commonly used supplements and herbal remedies to keep on the set.

The remedies were for injuries; physical, mental and emotional distress; stiff muscles after stunts; performance jitters; and other problems caused by the stress of little rest or over-work.

He became so popular for this that he created the John Board Hollywood Survival Kit.

Now, his hope is that others will consider the benefits of alternative remedies.

If not, at least the guy does a pretty entertaining rap!

The coolest! A really bold move! Who said that my "light skinned" brothers can't rap. (light skinned to me means white-y'all, I don't see just race) Keep on keepin' on!
