Sometimes you start growing bolder by making a conscious decision to change your life for the better. But sometimes you don't have the luxury of making that decision.

In 1988, college student Elizabeth Nelson's life was ripped apart when an act of terrorism claimed the lives of 35 of her Syracuse University classmates, including her roommates. Heartbroken, she vowed to live her life in a way her friends were never able to.
