I just found this site and it's looks interesting. I'm 60 with a lovely wife and four grown children. Have always been active....until 1 1/2 years ago was hiking the Columbia River Gorge (near Portland, Or) and going to the gym. Hit with malignant melanoma...still have a tumor in right lung and two others removed. Have done several treatments but there aren't many for this. Am now doing well. Hey...everybody's got something....it's part of life! Just go on and things always work out!!
My passion is piano. I taught part-time until the health issue hit. I volunteer at a new hospital in Vancouver, Wa which has a gorgeous grand piano in the lobby. I go once a week and play...little bit of "elevator type " music, some soft jazz....Jim Brickman and John Tesh.
With the economy the way it is I'll work until I drop dead. My wife and I just started doing Dave Ramsey financial. Wish I had done it sooner!
