Me and my Genie Bras
Being recently retired and finding that I now have more time to do what I want to, I have started paying more attention to television advertisements and, frankly, I have become a big fan of Genie bras. I calmly watched the first commercial a couple of weeks ago and learned that those things are magic!! I heard and saw a testimonial from a woman who wears a double D!! (Like I could identify with that.) Anyway, I learned that Genie bras give the lift that every woman wants. And, they lift and separate your left boob from your right – now that’s a good thing, isn’t it? Do any of us women want one boob that spreads all the way across our chest? I think not. Anyway, I learned that they make us look younger instantly!!! And, there are no under wires to jab and poke us.

I was sold after that first TV commercial and I quickly dialed the phone number on the screen because the special only lasted 10 minutes. If I acted then, I could get six Genie bras for the price of three – two sets in different colors (if I wanted variety) and they were only $59.99!! I ordered the largest size offered because I wanted to get my money’s worth (I’m smart like that.)
When they arrived, I tried them on immediately. I decided to use the beige ones for everyday wear and church and the black ones for nightclub crawling (not that I ever do that sort of thing . . . ) I put my arms through the straps of huge beige bra number 1 and pulled it down over my stomach and rear end – it made a great girdle. I then used a whole roll of toilet paper to fill the oversized (for me) cups – can we say, “junior high school days all over again?” so I could finally have some decent-sized boobs. I then used the other beige bra as a second defense girdle and pulled it over my rear end. The method I used was to simply turn the bra upside down and backwards and step into the arm holes using my legs instead of my arms. The flat part of the Genie bra kept my stomach in check (mostly) and each of the huge cups covered one of my butt cheeks perfectly - I felt much more confident when I left the house.
I now wear my Genie bras (two of them) every day – I exude confidence and people take me more seriously than they did before; especially in the toilet paper section of the grocery store. And, I am finally getting the respect that I deserve; so there.
