On 5/19 I competed in an Ironman 70.3 which consists of a 1.25 mile swim, a 56 mile bike, and a 13.1 mile run. I finished in 8 hours and 13 minutes and placed 3rd in my age group (70-74). Out of the almost 1400 competitors, I was the 3rd oldest and was glad to beat 104 people younger than me. This is the 4th race in my goal to do an Ironman 70.3 for each birthday in my 70's.
