Eddie Munster (Butch Patrick) is 55 today. The Munsters debuted in 1964 and lasted only 2 years but is considered one of the greatest TV comedies of all time. It was cancelled after getting demolished in the ratings by the premiere of ABC's Batman.

Usually, when it rains, it pours, but BJ Thomas enjoyed superstardom with his mega hit "Raindrops Keep Fallin' on My Head." Not only did he earn Grammy Awards and platinum records, he also kicked a bad habit in the meantime.

Hollywood legend Paul Newman passed away Friday after a battle with cancer. He was 83. Newman died in the farmhouse in Westport, Conn., where he lived with his wife and occasional costar, Joanne Woodward.
