On October 29, 2009, Donna Fargo's hometown of Mount Airy, NC dedicated a highway in her honor called, what else, the Donna Fargo Highway. Donna was in town for 4 days and I got to spend lots of time with her. This past weekend I attended the Western Film Festival in Winston-Salem, NC. I was surprised to hear that people came from as far away as Canada to attend. Apparently there are several festivals around the US and people travel around to all of them. This was my first.
