We recently introduced you to four, adorable puppies whose mother was rescued from a hoarding situation in Mississippi. You'll be happy to know that the puppies are thriving and have been named! See what happened when they came to visit the GB offices.

Ann Young was a gift to all winged creatures. Her healing hand saved the lives of thousands of wild birds. Her unexpected death has left a huge void. This is a video tribute in Ann's memory.

We hear it all the time. Volunteers get paid in satisfaction and that's something money can't buy. Julia's retirement isn't what she imagined. It's better. Long hours and hard work never felt so good.

It was a mess of Olympic proportions. An all-electric competitor replaced the venerable Zamboni, but the ice at the speed skating venue at the 2010 Olympics was a disaster. A Zamboni, which made its Olympic debut exactly 50 years ago, came to the rescue.
