It was a mess of Olympic proportions. An all-electric competitor replaced the venerable Zamboni, but the ice at the speed skating venue at the 2010 Olympics was a disaster. A Zamboni, which made its Olympic debut exactly 50 years ago, came to the rescue.
More than 600 swimmers between the ages of 18 and 87 gathered in Puerto Rico last week for the U.S. Masters Swimming Summer Nationals. The event attracted former Olympians and novice swimmers alike who share a passion for healthy living and good times.
