Fred Fruehan did not hesitate to enlist in WWI, although he would rather have stayed in Pennsylvania and married his sweetheart, Caroline. But as Fred told us, all involved felt that duty to his country came first.

He once credited "cigarettes, whiskey and wild women" for his longevity. We think it's his sense of humor! But Henry Allingham, born June 6, 1896 is now the world's oldest man.

Born in 1901, he not only survived WWI, but he also survived 3 years as a POW in WWII. Watch him recount his experiences and explain why he's not surprised to be living at 108 years old.
