Wendy Chioji – One Month to Build a Lifetime of Memories

In

Sailing on a 66-foot boat from Argentina to Antarctica might not be on your bucket list. But when opportunity knocks, you answer. That’s Growing Bolder.

For decades, Growing Bolder’s Wendy Chioji answered opportunity and said yes to adventures. One of those adventures led to a very special expedition. Wendy was part of an 11-person crew that sailed through the dreaded Drake Passage, to several of the South Shetland Islands, to the continent of Antarctica and back.

Wendy died in 2019 due to complications from metastatic thymic carcinoma, but as you’ll see in this video, she refused to allow her diagnosis to keep her on the sidelines. Let her passion for saying yes inspire you to stop waiting and start living your own grand adventures.
