ORLANDO (June 30, 2021) – Vic Cao, an experienced web expert known for his vision, creative design and in-depth knowledge of analytics, was just named senior web developer at Growing Bolder, one of the world’s leading voices for 50+ adults.
Prior to coming to Growing Bolder, Cao developed an enviable reputation with clients across Florida, including some of the most prestigious agencies, such as &Barr in Orlando.
After earning his bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Central Florida and his MBA in marketing at Rollins College’s renowned Crummer School of Business, Cao built an impressive portfolio and resume. From managing and implementing a 200-store online ordering system for Hungry Howie’s Florida franchises; to leading all creation design, development and deliverables in print, tradeshow displays and interactive for clients; to rebranding of a company that led to his being named Employee of the Year, Cao has proven to be a rising star.
“It was only by happy accident I ended up at Growing Bolder,” Cao said. “Over the past several years – first getting married and then starting a family and becoming a family – I found myself leaning in more than ever. I look forward to being a part of an organization that promotes values I can be aligned with.”
Cao has joined Growing Bolder at a time when the multimedia giant finds itself in a huge expansion. During the past year, the company moved into a 10,000-square-foot office in Orlando, tripled its staff and increased its digital footprint. They also formed important partnerships with Florida Blue Medicare and the Alliance for Lifetime Income.
Growing Bolder has a national TV program seen on PBS broadcasting stations, a radio program seen on NPR affiliates across the country, a popular podcast and a lifestyle magazine with over 200,000 subscribers.
All of the Growing Bolder properties are tied to the company’s website, GrowingBolder.com, and to a robust social media that draws more than 300 million views annually. Cao is expected to lead the charge on strategically increasing Growing Bolder’s online audience.
Growing Bolder President Robert Thompson said, “I’m incredibly excited to have someone of Vic’s talents on the team and for what that means to Growing Bolder and our partners. He’s a seasoned digital strategist who excels at execution, and he’s already hit the ground running.”
Growing Bolder was founded in 2007 by Emmy Award-winning broadcaster Marc Middleton. The multi-media company produces TV and radio programs, a podcast and lifestyle magazine. Growing Bolder enjoys 300 million impressions annually across its platforms.
