Description

She's been named by Newsweek as one of the 50 most influential Boomers and author Marianne Williamson proved her title with her newest book, "The Age of Miracles: Embracing the New Midlife."

Williamson, a four-time New York Times Bestseller, has made a name for herself around the world as an author of nine books. She's even found herself being interviewed with the likes of "Oprah," "Larry King Live" and "Good Morning America."

She says that now, it's more about figuring out how to handle midlife opportunities and reinventing yourself -- something she's mastered. Williamson used to be a jazz nightclub singer, political activist, religious leader and spiritualist.

Williamson made a stop at the GB Radio studios and talks with GB about the real meaning of retirement and how over 50 is not over the hill.
