It's something men don't like to talk about. But since September is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month, we will.
Prostate cancer is the most common form of non-skin cancer in America. In what may be the most unusual and effective prostate cancer educational outreach ever, a group of dedicated physicians and their patients lace up their running shoes to make a point.
These doctors are big believers in taking their own medicine -- watch another video here!

Posted 1:14pm September 19th, 2009My husband was 46 when he was found out he had prostate cancer...his Dr just by chance did a PSA test on him. Although he did not have any symptoms. He had surgery to have the prostate removed. The cancer thankfully did not spread but he still is checked out every 6 months.

Posted 2:13pm September 17th, 2009I attended the race as a supporter and love the idea that we are bringing prostate cancer awareness to all as we work so hard to do with breast cancer. I applaud this physician group and think it is great that they invited patients to run with them.
