These folks are the "Dara Torres" swimmers of their community! That's certainly good news for all of us.

If you are interested in the Dara Torres story, I would invite you to listen to an interview with Dianne DeNecochea, a professional volleyball player who, like Dara Torres, conquered the big 4-0 and motherhood and made it to the quarter-finals of the 2008 Olympic trials. She will be interviewed will be Wednesday at 6 p.m. PT, 9 p.m. ET: http://www.blogtalkradio.com/dryessis.

There is also great information on staying fit at any age at http://www.dryessis.com. It's easier and more fun to play sports if you're doing them right and that's the special focus of this site. For example, here are his articles about fitness specifically for swimming: http://www.dryessis.com/wp/?cat=231.
