The mission was gratifying yet overwhelming. But isn't taking on projects that are way too big the key to great accomplishment? JT Thompson had such a bright vision for the Stetson Mansion that he never had time to consider failure. And against all odds, he far exceeded even his own expectations.

Posted 11:19am June 27th, 2009What a great story. Even more than the history and rebirth of this grand old mansion, the comments from your visitors are also amazing. We are especially impressed by the comment from Austin, son of owner JT.

Posted 3:13pm June 26th, 2009For all those looking this video I just want to say that you must see this beautiful home and what has been done to it to fully appreciate it. Pictures can never do it justice, but, what this clip does is capture the enthusiasm that JT has and how he has put it to wonderful use. I have toured the mansion and attended a party there a year ago. I am from NJ and grew up not far from where John Stetson was born. This magnificent home is a must see for every person who is interested in the history of past and present. A great man like John Stetson believed in giving back to his community and it is so nice to see how JT and Michael have celbrated him and continue to carry on that tradition. As an entrepreneur myself, I can appreciate all that it takes to acheive your dream. This goes beyond that. Thankyou Growing Bolder for sharing these wonderful stories and to JT for helping the rest of us believe we can dream GIGANTIC!!!

Posted 1:41pm June 26th, 2009Dad, you are truly a great person that can achieve anything. I remember coming to the house a month before it was supposed to be done and I asked "How are you going to finish this?" Well, you did it and it was outstanding how much work you put into this home and I am very proud of you for doing so. I believe you helped the community and yourself realize that anything can be done if you put your mind to it. I really do love you and how you put all your effort into making this house a home.
