Dori Berinstein is always on the lookout for brilliant stories and she knows one when she sees one. She’s a three-time Tony Award-winning Broadway producer who has worked on film, TV and Internet projects as well.
When she heard that the New Jersey Nets had a group of senior citizens who entertain at halftime by doing hip hop dance routines, she had to see it to believe it. She was so inspired by them she decided to create a documentary so the rest of the world could see.
She says the group can be very competitive and they take what they're doing very seriously, even to the point of personality conflicts and arguments. They're proof that it's never too late.
