Posted 12:06am February 5th, 2009Hello,
My father in law was also in the Hanoi Hilton with John McCain. I've never known the man even to consider voting for a Democrat, but this year he made himself go out and do it. Everyone in the family was amazed. I don't know exactly what his gripes about McCain were because he doesn't like to talk about the years he was a POW, but anger problems were one of the reasons, I'm sure.

Posted 3:09pm November 5th, 2008In response to "CASTLEROCK"'s comments....I say this...
From the sound of your comments, I am assuming YOU are one of those voters that "held your nose" and voted for 'Juan McAmnesty McCain"? (as a "lesser of two evils..") I am probably right in my 'assumption'. I tell people everywhere..."voting for ANY evil , as a lesser of two evils...is STILL AN 'EVIL'. (Even when that 'evil' has a female 'prop-job' beauty queen waving in front of us!) Oh well, YOUR choice. YOU will have to live with it.
The republican party is DYING. And, rightfully so.I will refuse to shed a tear for a party that no longer has core values or a real meaningful platform on the REAL ISSUES. GUESS WHAT!?
The republican party and the democratic party and even MY PARTY..the Constitution party are NOT "sacred institutions".However, the GOP leadership thinks they are !
The ONLY thing "sacred" is the CONSTITUTION ! Political parties come and political parties go. "THEY" are NOT even mentioned in our country's "sacred" documents..Bill of Rights".."Constitution"..."Declaration of Independence". "THEY" are only "vehicles" for political action and thought, nothing more. When they no longer represent the man & woman on the street, then, what good are they? TODAY, BOTH , corrupt, monopoly political parties are 2 seperate wings of the same bird. BOTH controlled, at the top, by the power elite CFR (Council on Foreign Relations).
Whether it would be a McCain administration or a Obama administration...the CFR cabal will dominate our globalist foreign policy. An Obama administration will be saturated with CFR members. McCain is a dedicated CFR member to the bone. The CFR cares not what monopoly party is in the White House...as long as "they" are pulling the strings. I am sure Gen. (ret.) Colin Powell (CFR) will have a place in the Obama administration.
YES, I say it again....all the "koolade drinkers" and "sheeppeople" that voted for McCain...are crying the blues because, they got their butt kicked. Good! They voted PARTY FIRST instead of PRINCIPLE. The republicans are good at doing that, time after time. Yes, there were other koolade drinkers voting for Obama too, but many people voted for Obama as a backlash against the republican mishandling of our economy etc.
McCain was a terrible, lousy candidate, even with a beauty queen prop-job! The leadership of the GOP just doesn't get it! Because "they" continually ignore the REAL ISSUES...their worthless party will die on the vine, just like the WHIG PARTY died on the vine in 1860 just over the one issue of SLAVERY! The GOP is ignoring the issues of illegal immigration, NAU, NAFTA, ILLEGAL FOREIGN AID, UN participation,no-win undeclared wars, outsourcing of American jobs overseas, and the list goes on!
The ONLY political party (that is growing by leaps & bounds) the CONSTITUTION PARTY..is the one party & candidates that really stands up for the CONSTITUTION, period. The CP stands on its platform. READ IT..at www.constitutionparty.com...we are very proud of it. Congressman RON PAUL stood up to the GOP leadership's ridiculas positions on the issues, such as the FEDERAL RESERVE SYSTEM. Ron Paul endorsed Chuck Baldwin. Ron Paul's "CAMPAIGN FOR LIBERTY" and the Constitution party will go forward, grow, and prosper...Rome was not built in a day.
The NATIONAL VETERANS COALITION (www.nvets.org) will continue the fight as well..."veterans, families & friends putting AMERICA FIRST at the ballot box". To all others..I say.."lead, follow or get out of the way".-Laryy Breazeale, Msgt.(ret.)USAF,Vietnam/Desert Storm veteran,Deputy Sheriff "retired",Nat.Chrm.NVC/CP

Posted 9:02am November 4th, 2008I have a need to speak out against Larry Breazeale Msgt.(ret.), only because after having read his comment, I , after a few days cannot ease the gnawing in my gut. I was not going to continue this diatribe, but feel I must address a couple of his points of view.
He definitely is not a Poster Boy for the Constitution Party. His powers of persuasion for recruitment to the Party leave a lot to be desired. I presume by kooladers, he is referring to African-Americans, and by sheeppeople, anyone following the crowd. And then to group the rest of us as fools: he certainly has my vote for his Candidates. It is my uderstanding that the Preamble to the Constitution starts "We the people", but I guess this excludes the afore-mentioned. As it it his right to cast a vote for whom he deems the right candidate, so it is our right to do the same...without bias or name-calling.
I do have to agree with him concerning the NAU. This is a real threat to our way of living in this great country of ours. The "Superhighway' in Texas is not a pipedream, it is a definite reality, financed by a Spanish conglomerate, to eventually stretch from the borders of Mexico to the Canadian Border. Kansas City will be the central stopping-off place. This is why NAFTA has to be disbanded, and our borders sealed against any further attempt at this type of treaty.

Posted 6:10pm November 3rd, 2008I voted for CHUCK BALDWIN because he and DARRELL CASTLE are the only right choices for America. John McCain, like so many other vets, did his 'time.' He's lucky to still be alive and running for president. Some of the folks I served with are dead. The bottom line for me is that he has an open border mentality and that just will not work. If there is a real War on Terror then the borders have to be closed. Apparently the war on terror is a hoax because the borders are wide open. In fact, the Border Patrol just picked up a few soldiers from the Mexican Army and sent them back to Mexico. (They must not know how to read a map or navigate parallel to a fence!) Go figure! Barack Obama and the Democrats and John McCain and the Republicans are nothing more than the bow and stern of the same ship. America is in serious trouble if Baldwin/Castle don't get elected.

Posted 11:08am November 3rd, 2008I did NOT vote for John McCain (aka: "JUAN McAMNESTY McCAIN") for presiden, 2008. WHY? Despite all his "prior" military career in the past...the real issue is..what has 'he' done for the counrty 'LATELY'? I say..NOTHING! No, I did NOT vote for the democrat Obama either!
I voted for CHUCK BALDWIN of the Constitution party (ballot qualified in 40 plus states...the largest THIRD party in America...and the 'fastest' growing political party in America..'per Ballot Access News')..you see...'INTEGRITY' means everything to me! Even, despite the odds of winning! The Constitution party's PLATFORM ON THE REAL ISSUES..impresses me 100%.
McCain is a card carrying member of the "CFR"..Council on Foreign Relations. THAT SCARES ME! The CFR are the designers of the proposed North American Union scheme and the 'Superhighway' scheme, to open our borders with Canada and Mexico. The NAU is similar to the "E.U." open borders scheme in europe, designed by the 'Bilderberger Group'..linked to the CFR. The "E.U." has ONE flag, ONE currency and open borders.
John McCain is a 'globalist' FIRST, an American last. McCain supports MORE 'global' FREE TRADE schemes like NAFTA, instead of real pro-America First "FAIR TRADE", with no 'outsourcing' of American jobs overseas. McCain's military past does NOT impress me. Even Benedict Arnold was a great war hero in battle, that was bravely wounded. He was admired by General George Washington and the general looked upon Arnold as his own son! However, when Arnold stepped over the line and became a "traitor"...whatever happened 'prior' means NOTHING.
McCain supported the AMNESTY BILL with Ted Kennedy, which would LEGALIZE 30 million illegal aliens in America, overnight, with a stroke of a pen by President Bush (another globalist). I urge you to go to....
www.vietnamveteransagainstjohnmccain.com (which has been around for 20 yrs.) and see the VIDEO's on how McCain insulted and belittled the ALLAIANCE OF POW & MIA FAMILIES before a Congressional Committee. I have NO respect for globalist John McCain, even with his feeble attempt, during his 2008 campaign, of using Sahra Palin as a desperate "PROP JOB", to distract the voters from the REAL ISSUES.
My ONE PRECIOUS VOTE goes to candidates who deserve my vote. I refuse to vote for mere political expediancy or the 'lesser of two evils'. Let all the "koolade drinkers" and "sheepeople" WASTE their votes. They are ALL fools.I can live with myself and be able to look myself in the mirror every day because, I VOTED FOR PRINCIPLE. Defensor Fortis! I urge all veterans, families & friends to go to the NATIONAL VETERANS COALITION website...www.nvets.org..and see what YOU can do to help put AMERICA FIRST at the ballot box. Defensor Fortis!

Posted 10:16am November 3rd, 2008Short of a miracle, John McCain will not be elected to serve as POTUS. Unfortunately for those of us that cherish our freedom and respect the Constitution, a well planned overthrow of our government will place a radical non-patriot in office. Imagine a POTUS and a congress controlled by left wingers, with virtually no allowed opposition, dictating what we will be required to do for our government. I don't mind helping others, but I refuse to voluntarily reduce my earnings to support those too lazy to work and earn their way. I predict there will be a run on ammunition sales at all of the available outlets on Wednesday, like the world has never witnessed.
I never thought I would say it, but Hillary Clinton would have been better for America than the groomed one. Sadly, you will learn too late, that he has hidden more anti American and anti semetic truths than you could immagine.
Sign me ready and willing to fight for American freedom when the truth is exposed.

Posted 3:41pm November 1st, 2008I agree with Jonathan, this piece could have waited until after the election...poor timing guys! I also agree with his analysis of McCain's character. I've never seen a nastier campaign being run by a candidate who would aspire to be President. His outright lies, false innuendoes, taking words out of context, and character assination, leaves me cold. I think his choice of Palin for his VP just to garner votes from women, has put our country in dire peril should anything happen to him. Her constant barrage of negativism she has injected into this campaign is not worthy of a would-be Vice President or President. President...that's a scary thought!

Posted 11:35pm October 30th, 2008I guess if you post something controversial enough, you'll get people involved and this endorsement of McCain was so out of balance that it pulled me in. As if now, a few days before the election and 35 years after the war, some things can be said out loud.
As a private pilot and former skydiver, I have a lot of respect for Mr Kittinger's aviation career. Senator McCain, on the other hand, was no great aviator but would have passed on into history with a pretty impressive legacy if he had not made this tragic run for the presidency, where every flaw in his character has been on widescreen display. If 'maverick' is the same as pandering, angry, irrational, fraudulent, venal and weak, then he has proved to be a true maverick.
I would imagine many Vietnam POW pilots developed the wisdom and perspective that seems to have eluded McCain. Were they treated poorly... absolutely. Were they over there delivering medicine to the sick or food to the hungry? Well, no. They were young guys jacked up on flying fast planes and blowing shit up. Let's imagine the warm welcome Asian bomber pilots would get if shot down in your neighborhood.
Specifically, they were killing people in a third world nation which had never done anything to America. That's the kind of thing good soldiers do. Typically, they pass the moral responsibility to others (serving my country, following orders). A willingness to kill others because you are told to does not qualify or disqualify you from becoming a wise person later in life. I would not pump it up on my resume, though, if I was seeking a job that required judgement, compassion, personal strength and independent thinking.
