For more information about the organization: The Center for Grieving Children is located in Maitland and offers its services free to the families it serves. Also, Carolyn created Modern Widows Club for young & young at heart widows in Florida. She leads workshops, group sessions, social hours and one on one mentoring. Giving back is a life long passion. Posted 4:10pm April 15th, 2011Carolyn represents single moms very well, especially those of us who have dealt with tragedy and grief. I, too, participated in the grief program at New Hope for Kids. My daughter, Sarah, died in 2002 and my daughter Amy, then 8 years old, and I attended the Center for Grieving Children for just over year. We experienced the hope and strength offered through their program, just as Carolyn and her girls did. Posted 2:03pm April 7th, 2011It is a privilege and an honor (and fun) to be a friend of Carolyn Moor. She is an inspiring role model, and truly understands how to live life to its fullest. Her story of tragedy to triumph can help anyone who has been blindsided by a life "cyclone."
