Chad Stone had been married for many, many years, when he suddenly found himself divorced, newly single and not sure where to start to put the pieces of his life back together.
It led to quite the adventure, which he documents in his new book, “Confessions of a Middle-Aged Babe Magnet.”
Chad says he was so out of practice with being single that the last time he went on a date was when Ronald Reagan was president. For starters, he had to figure out how to go on a date in the 21st century, so he started to study up.
He said the first hard step was getting over the shock of the situation. After that, he says he knew he had to figure out a way forward.
He explains why he thinks dating later in life actually has a lot of advantages and how much more you bring to the table during your 50s and beyond.
Plus, he wanted to dispel the myth that everyone over 40 is married. he went to Census Bureau and discovered that more than 30.8 million adults between the ages of 40 and 64 are single. Chad says there are so many people out there like you, just waiting to meet their perfect life partner.
He shares some of the Babe Magnet Rules and reveals if his story has a happy ending.
