Cinda Firestone Fox was just 23 years old in 1974 when she created the landmark documentary film, Attica. The film was so controversial that she was cut off as an heir to the Firestone fortune. (Yes, she’s from THAT Firestone family. Her grandfather founded the company.)
But instead of a business touch, she longed to follow her emotions and create films. She followed Attica with three more documentaries, South Beach, Retirement and Mountain People that focused on telling the stories of retirees, and a few others who wish they could be.
Cinda is also involved in Children’s Theater. She’s written three original musicals and was even assisted by her son on one of them. But that’s not all! Cinda is also the author of numerous screenplays and is now working on a musical comedy she believes is destined for Broadway.
