He’s a singer/songwriter most known for his musical storytelling ability, but it is in his 60s that Tom Rush became a household name with his baby boomer song on YouTube!.

With over 3 million views on the Internet video site, Rush’s “Remember Song” has gone viral and his status as a folk music legend has increased even more.

But Rush has been around for decades before his YouTube! stint. He started off performing in coffee houses while studying in Harvard and was said to have ushered in the singer/songwriter era with his 1968 album “The Circle Game” and was James Taylor’s early main influence.

Rush talks with Growing Bolder about his own influences and what life is like as an in-demand artist living in Wyoming.
