These days, there is a “Chicken Soup for the Soul” book for nearly every niche imaginable. But when David Tabatsky thought about writing one about cancer, even to him it seemed like a stretch.
Why cancer? Tabatsky’s father passed away from the disease more than two decades ago. But his story seemed just as relevant as ever. Tabatsky started to look into the lives of people affected by cancer, and what he found amazed and inspired him. He put together a collection of their stories, and created what he calls a “support group in a book.” “Chicken Soup for the Soul: The Cancer Book” is for cancer patients, their families, and anyone who is looking for a little inspiration and motivation.
